Find the hidden recessed reset button and hold it in for a minimum of 30 seconds. Ignore whatever is happening on the screen, you must hold it for at least 30 seconds to properly trigger the reset. Then power cycle and see if you get the initial welcome and setup screen. The light will blink quickly indicating that the factory reset is complete. The Roku logo will appear on your screen as it gets ready for a fresh setup (see our guide on how to set up Roku).

Addressing Software Problems Software glitches can also cause your Roku to get stuck on the loading screen. Here's my advice on tackling this: Restart your Roku. Often, a simple reboot can clear minor software issues. Navigate to "Settings > System > System Restart". If that doesn't help, consider updating your device's software.
